We have received a lot of bookings for July and August 2012.

August 18th to 31st is fully booked. There are only two pitches left for the first week in August. The last week in July has a few pitches left.

A lot of the dates between the middle of July and the middle of September 2011 have only a few pitches left. Don't delay if you are intending to come to us this summer.

July and August are always the most popular months and bookings should be made as early as possible. Most of our regulars booked their pitches for July and August 2012 before they left in 2011!

Many others have been disappointed to find that the dates they wanted were fully booked earlier than usual last year.

There was a Caravan Club Certified Location with 5 sites at Pengoon Farm for over 15 years. Planning permission and a full caravan site licence was granted to extend it to 25 sites (including tent sites) and is now licensed to take touring caravans and tents throughout the year.

Electricity hook-up is available on request (free for caravan pitches). Orders taken for daily newspapers. Milk, eggs, butter, some fresh vegetables and other basic needs are available from our farm shop. The shop has been enlarged and now includes more food, caravanning equipment, some frozen food and a pay-phone.

The increased capacity has meant that the original shower block was inadequate for the needs of the site and so a new shower and toilet block was opened in 2000. These much improved facilities include access for wheelchair users and provide hot showers, coin-operated hair dryer, shaver points and basic washing facilities for crockery and clothes.

Pengoon Farm is situated three miles North-west of Helston on the B3302 in a rural setting. A quiet rural position but conveniently close to the town.

Helston is the town where, in early May, the arrival of Spring is celebrated with the Floral Dance. Adults and children dance through the flower decorated town centre.

There are four supermarkets - Tesco, Somerfield, Spar and a new Sainsburys - in the town of Helston. There are many village shops in and around the Helston area. There is a large Asda superstore at Penryn near Falmouth which is less than 20 minutes drive away.
